Description

Transmit video and control signaling in a data center, conference room, or classroom with this Ultra Slim 4K HDMI 2.0 over HDBaseT Extender Kit from AVPro Edge. This transmitter and receiver pair can transmit 4K60 video and embedded audio up to 131′ and 1080p video with embedded audio up to 230′. The units are so compact they can fit into any media setup.

The transmitter features one HDMI 2.0 input that supports up to 4K60 4:2:0 video input as well as up to 12-bit 4:2:2 HDR and even 3D video. The HDBaseT output connects a Cat 7, 6a, or 5e cable to transmit the video with embedded audio as well as serial signaling. The receiver features HDBaseT input and HDMI 2.0 output to your monitor or studio equipment. The kit also supports HDCP 2.2, CEC pass-through, daisy-chaining, and bidirectional RS-232 serial transport for computer data and control units. IR units plug into both the transmitter and receiver to support IR remote control.

Embedded audio support includes transport of uncompressed two-channel PCM, LPCM 5.1 & 7.1, Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD-Master Audio, and Dolby Atmos audio. The system supports ESD protection up to 7KV, and it features a 3-20V protection circuit to safely transport IR signals.

Only one power supply is included since the units support 48V power-over-HDBaseT (PoH), allowing one unit to be powered by the other and saving valuable outlet space. Also included with the kit are Tx and Rx IR cables, female and male DB9 serial cables, and rack ears for mounting.
