The AC-SC-1X is controllable via front-panel control buttons and RS-232, and it features a TOSLINK output port for multi-channel digital audio and a 3.5mm port for analog stereo. An included 5 VDC power supply with respective USB Type-C cable provide power to the device or you can connect the USB cable to a computer for power and data communication.
8K, 40 Gb/s Support (FRL 5)
High-bandwidth signaling supplies plenty of headroom for current sources and is fully prepared to handle 8K signals from any devices using the ACSC1-X as a bridge.
EDID Management and EDID Blend
16 different EDID settings, including User Copy to retrieve the EDID from the connected display, enable systems with mixed-era technologies to display the same content wherever desired. EDID Blend customization mixes audio and video EDIDs from two different signals for full flexibility and system compatibility.
Digital Audio Extraction
Through the digital TOSLINK output, 7-channel PCM, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS can be extracted and sent to an alternate location.
Full HDR Support
As Hollywood becomes more adept at using HDR to augment storytelling, dynamic metadata in HDR content is pushing the color boundaries for compatible displays. AVPro Edge 8K devices repeat and passthrough HDR content retaining 100% of the fidelity in the signal. HDR, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision, and IMAX Enhanced are no challenge for the unit’s image-handling circuitry, delivering full color volume and accurate tone mapping metadata to connected displays.
