Description
The WorkForce DS-50000 Document Scanner from Epson captures documents as small as a business card and as large as 11×17″. The four-line CCD sensor features a 600x600dpi for capturing full image detail in both grayscale and color. The scanner features programmable one-touch scanning buttons which let you create as many as 30 custom scan operations as well as image enhancement features such as color dropout. The scanner is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems and comes with a software suite that includes OCR software which converts your scanned documents into editable text. In addition to saving a scan as an image file, you can also create a searchable PDF file from your scans. Easily convert all your papers to searchable PDFs, cut paper clutter and easily find what you need by searching your documents. Also included is software that allows you to scan directly to cloud services such as Evernote and Google Docs so you can easily access your scans from any web-connected device such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
