Description

The 4K HDMI to USB 2.0 Capture Box with HDMI Loop Output from KanexPro connects to your computer over a USB 2.0 interface and lets you capture up to UHD 4K signals with embedded audio via an HDMI input. It allows you to capture from cameras, game consoles, and various other devices directly to your Windows or macOS computer for classrooms, meetings, or streaming presentations. It also features an HDMI loop-through for local monitoring.

There is no requirement for external power, though the unit does have a USB Type-C power input in case power may be required for high-resolution extended usage. The unit supports downscaling to 1080p, 8/10/12-bit deep color, UVC, and UAC control over USB. It supports most video capture software such as VLC, OBS, and more.
