The curved, panoramic display of the 38BN95C-W 38″ 21:9 UltraWide Curved FreeSync HDR 144 Hz IPS Monitor from LG makes easy work of your tasks, thanks to its curved design and 21:9 aspect ratio that surrounds you. Backing this wide, curved panel is coverage for 98% of the DCI-P3 and 135% of the sRGB color gamuts, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, HDR10 and DisplayHDR 600 compatibility, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 1 ms (GtG) response time. Coverage for 98% of the DCI-P3 and 99% of the sRGB gamuts deliver a wider color space and more lifelike images, while AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC synchronize the display’s refresh rate to the frame rate of the graphics card to greatly reduce or eliminate stuttering, juddering, and tearing during gaming and video playback. A refresh rate of 144 Hz means that the display refreshes 144 times per second for smoother motion, while HDR10 DisplayHDR 600 help bring out details from dark and bright areas while maintaining overall image clarity.
LG’s 38BN95C-W also features a native resolution of 3840 x 1600, Nano In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology, support for 1.07 billion colors, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, 450 cd/m2brightness, 109 ppi. Using the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, it is possible to watch content from virtually any position. This display has two HDMI 2.0 inputs, one DisplayPort input, a Thunderbolt 3 port that supports DisplayPort, bi-directional data transfers of 40 Gb/s, and 94W of power delivery, dual 5W speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additional peripheral connectivity can be accomplished using two 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 Type-A ports. To further help improve viewing and accessibility, the display raised, lowered, tilted, and swiveled. It may be mounted on a wall using the integrated 100 x 100mm VESA mount.
Please note that the 144 Hz refresh rate is only supported when using Thunderbolt 3 or DisplayPort, which also support 120 Hz. The HDMI ports only support a refresh rate of 75 Hz.
