The Recordex BD300 is a TechDisc Blu BD duplicator with 3 TripleFormat writers. It provides high-speed copies of CD, DVD, and Blu-ray discs. With an intuitive user interface, using the BD300 is a breeze and advanced users are explained in detail in the user guide. The BD300 also comes with a multi-lingual controller menu with a selection of English, Spanish, French and Turkish and an easy navigation with up/down, enter/escape.
With its 500GB hard drive capacity, you’ll keep your master images in-check. Archiving up to 15 Blu-Ray discs, 80 DVD discs or 400 Compact Discs. It also has outputs of 3 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD discs per session.

Powered by the strongest power supply in the industry, the TechDisc Blu BD300 delivers 400 watts of continuous commercial grade power and 115/230V switchable to work around the world. Constructed with commercial steel grade for the case and with anti-tip stabilizing feet which can be folded to save space when multiple units are placed side-by-side making the BD300 rock solid and super stable.
Blu-ray Disc 101: A few facts about BD-R
A Blu-ray Disc (also called BD) is a high-density optical disc format for the storage of digital media, including high-definition video. The name Blu-ray Disc™ is derived from the blue-violet laser used to read and write this type of disc. Because of its shorter wavelength (405 nm), substantially more data can be stored on a Blu-ray Disc than on the DVD format, which uses a red, 650 nm laser. A Blu-ray Disc can store 25 GB on each layer, as opposed to a DVD’s 4.7 GB. At 2x burn speeds it takes about 45 minutes to burn 25 GB of data.
- About 9 hours of high-definition (HD) video can be stored on a 50 GB disc
- About 23 hours of standard-definition (SD) video can be stored on a 50 GB disc
- On average, a single-layer disc can hold a High Definition feature of 135 minutes using MPEG-2, with additional room for 2 hours of bonus material in standard definition quality. A dual layer disc will extend this number up to 3 hours in HD quality and 9 hours of SD bonus material
