This wide angle and its compact size makes it an ideal solution for a POV camera for productions in small, enclosed spaces.

The camera allows you to record up to 8-bit 4:4:4 video up to UHD 4K60 via the HDMI 2.0 output, or you can output up to 1080p resolution via the USB 3.0 Type-B output. Its 3.5mm analog audio input jack allows you to embed audio with your video output over HDMI or USB. The camera can also stream video via the RJ45 LAN port using RTMP/RTSP protocols as well as with a Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) option. There is also a tally light on the front of the camera, so you can tell when the camera is live and recording.

To power the SRG-XP1, you can either plug the camera into mains power with the included power adapter, or you can utilize PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) using your local PoE-supported LAN to save power cable runs. You can control the camera via the included IR remote control, or you can utilize the Ethernet port for LAN control. Options for NDI|HX and UVC control are available separately with future firmware updates and license purchases.

Key Features

Robust, Stylish, and Compact
Weighing in at just 14 oz, the SRG-XP1 can be readily integrated into any environment. Upper and lower tripod mounts increase installation flexibility. Rear-panel guards ensure extra robustness, and the large, easy-to-read tally lamp is useful in multiple-camera setups.

Multiple Streaming Outputs
Streaming video is available over HDMI, Ethernet, and USB 3.0 interfaces offers even greater operational flexibility. Full UVC capability will be available with a future firmware update.

High-Quality 4K60 images
The camera’s large 1/1.8″ Exmor R CMOS sensor captures smooth, crisply detailed 4K60 video with excellent low-light sensitivity.

Audio Input
Connect an external microphone or line-level source to capture clear pictures with sound in lecture theaters and meeting rooms or on reality TV shows.

Wide Angle of View
The wide angle lens covers a generous 102° (with distortion correction: 85°) angle of view (horizontal). As well as accommodating the presenter’s entire face or body from close range without cropping, it can also cover the entire room, ensuring that everyone is visible in the frame.

Easy IP Connectivity, Single-Cable Installation
Camera control, PoE, and streaming video output are carried over a single Ethernet cable, reducing installation costs and simplifying integration in space-restricted or hard-to-reach locations. Full IP integration includes support for Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP), and Secure Reliable Transport (SRT). Support for NDI|HX is also available via an optional license.

Broadcast-Style Tally Light
The camera-mounted tally light gives visual confirmation to the lecturer or presenter when the camera is active. The horizontal bar-style light is easily visible to both performer/presenter and director.
