Description
Add a modular matrix switcher to your broadcast facility to support a variety of video input types and resolutions with this 4K UHD 64×64 Modular Matrix Switcher Chassis from KanexPro. This 10 RU chassis provides hot-swappable slots for sixteen video input cards and sixteen video output cards, and it supports a variety of optional I/O such as VGA, SDI, DVI, HDMI, HDBaseT, and fiber optic cards. The optional supported HDMI and HDBaseT cards support up to UHD 4K video and up to 10.2 Gb/s bandwidth. The matrix allows you to switch embedded audio along with the video to eliminate the need for an additional audio matrix.
The unit can store 10 global presets and features IR control using the included IR remote, RS-232 serial control using an optional serial controller, IP control using optional software and the RJ45 LAN port, and there are also illuminated front-panel buttons to manually switch the matrix. An LCD on the front panel shows the status of the chassis and individual cards, and there is also a front-panel lock. Other features include crosspoint ultra switching, HDCP support, and advanced EDID management.
Its dual internal power supply provides redundancy and 400W of power to support any card configuration. A power cable and an RS-232 cable are included.
