The 1.09 to 1.77:1 throw ratio offers a range of throw distances for focused images from nearly anywhere in the room.

The PT-VMZ50U features DIGITAL LINK via Ethernet, composite video, VGA, and two HDMI inputs to connect to nearly any device. One VGA port can act either as a second input or an output to daisy-chain multiple projectors or displays. The projector is controllable via the included wireless remote control, DIGITAL LINK, or RS-232 with various control software options.

Bright Images from a Compact Design
The PT-VMZ50U outputs up to 5000 lumens of brightness from a 15.9 lb body, bringing dynamic images where you need them. The SOLID SHINE laser phosphor drive and LCD optical engine are designed to project bright, detailed images, even with ambient light.
High Dynamic Contrast Ratio
The laser output modulation can achieve up to a 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio while minimizing power consumption. High contrast performance adds depth and realism to video, showing more defined details in shadows, even when bright and dark scenes frequently interchange.
Daylight View Basic
Daylight View Lite is designed to enhance sharpness by optimizing detail reproduction in dark areas of the image, which can be difficult to see in bright light. A sensor measures ambient light, allowing halftone color and brightness to be optimized to better suit the surrounding environment.
Enhanced Efficiency
The SOLID SHINE laser light source is designed to deliver up to 20,000 hours of consistent brightness and color accuracy.
Reusable Air Filter
The included air filter can be washed and reused twice, providing a reduced total cost of ownership.

Enhanced Connectivity
The PT-VMZ50U supports 4K UHD signals via HDMI and DIGITAL LINK and features a separate LAN terminal. DIGITAL LINK can transmit A/V and control signals over a LAN cable up to 492′ and 4K video up to 164′. A separate LAN terminal offers a dedicated control interface if preferred.
Horizontal, Vertical, and Corner Keystone Correction
Manual keystone adjustments fit the image to the screen when projecting from an unusual angle. Curved Screen Correction removes barrel or pincushion distortion for natural projection onto curved surfaces.
Shutter Function
A button on the remote or on top of the projector blocks light output temporarily, which is useful at break time or whenever you don’t need the image, but want the projector powered on, cued up, and ready to go instantly.
Quick Start and Quick Off
The laser light source needs no time to warm up, so images appear almost instantaneously in Quick Start / Quick Off Standby Mode. Also, no cool-down is required, so you can turn the unit off at any time.
Memory Viewer Light
Insert a USB memory device into the USB port and start projecting stored content right away without connecting a computer.
Multi Monitoring & Control Software
Manage up to 2048 devices via your network with system map visualization and auto-search of unregistered devices, enabling real time monitoring and more.
Project Wirelessly with an Optional Module
The optional AJ-WM50 Wireless Module lets you share media from your computer or mobile device wirelessly to the projector using Presenter Light software for Windows or the Wireless Projector app for iOS and Android devices.
With Presenter Light software, you can display images, video, and documents such as PDF and PowerPoint; mirror your computer screen; and project from up to four computers simultaneously in Split Screen Mode.
With the Wireless Projector app, you can connect via a 3-step initial connection process and transmit still images and PDF data.
