DisplayPort is a digital display interface primarily used to connect a video source to a display device such as a computer monitor, though it can also be used to carry audio, USB, and other forms of data. 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA resolution) is supported over all 2-meter “DP Certified” cables. Some cables, due to their design, may be capable of supporting 2560 x 1600 resolution over lengths longer than 2 meters.
