Description

The ne8250PE from Ashly is a professional-quality 8-channel power amplifier with Ethernet capability designed for installed applications. Housed in a robust 2RU enclosure, this highly-efficient amplifier uses standard Euroblock input and output connectors, allowing it to connect to practically any 4 or 8 Ohm system.

The ne8250PE has an Ethernet port, which offers Ethernet control and monitoring of the amplifier functions using the Proteane software. It also has a normal/bridge switch, allowing you to switch the amplifier into Bridge Mode. Other features include a wide complement of protection circuitry, remote level control, and the ability to expand the unit’s capability via optional expansion modules.

This PE model offers internal DSP processing, which allows each input channel to be configured with pluggable DSP blocks for dynamic control, gain functions, graphic and/or parametric EQ, time delay, and more. A mixer section with assignable routing gives you the option to drive any or all output from any input channel. The amplifier outputs have the same DSP benefits as the inputs, with the addition of automated crossover setup.

DSP
The integrated DSP features, along with the Proteane software, allow you to configure each input for dynamics control, gain functions, graphic and/or parametric EQ, high and low pass filters, time delay, metering, and test signal generator. A mixer section lets you assign routing to deliver any input to any and all outputs. The outputs have the same DSP functions as the inputs, as well as an automated crossover setup. Up to 35 presets and sub presets can be set for storage and retrieval of global parameters
Optional Expansion
Multiple expansion modules are available for adding additional functionality, such as DSP, AES/EBU connectivity, mic inputs, or CobraNet networking
