System installers in search of a quality installation mixer / amplifier will be impressed with the TOA Electronics A-848D, a flexible six-channel mixer / 480W amplifier that’s ideal for paging announcements and BGM applications in schools, offices, and supermarkets. The A-848D is equipped with four mic/line inputs, two auxiliary inputs, and two 900-Series module slots. The amplifier offers a single speaker output that’s switchable between 4 ohms and 70V operation. The integrated Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuit prevents damage from faulty power. The unit offers several functions, including volume control, priority, chime, and remote confirmation. In addition, it is equipped with a 2-channel input Bus of Audio and Duck, and the signal processing function. The A-848D includes a power cord, several block terminal plugs, a volume control cover, and rackmount hardware.
