Description
The EM-700 Boundary Microphone from Toa Electronics is a cardioid electret condenser microphone designed to be placed on desks, tables, and lecterns to record meetings, religious services, and other speaking applications. It can be powered by between 9 and 52 volts of phantom power and features a switchable 100 Hz low cut filter that reduces room noises such as from air conditioners. The focused cardioid polar pattern, off-axis rejection, wide frequency range, and low profile design is optimal for placement on a desk and pickup of a speaker’s voice.
