Description
Send one HDMI signal to up to four displays with the KanexPro 1×4 HDMI Splitter. This splitter can be used to transmit content protected by HDCP, useful for Blu-ray discs and other HD content, with low latency and support for HDR and multiple digital audio formats such as Dolby and DTS. It can be easily integrated for video conferencing, demos, education, digital signage, and more.
Resolutions up to 8K60 or 4K120 are supported on inputs and outputs, and it also supports both analog and digital audio extraction for speaker and recording output. The unit features a metal enclosure and includes a power supply, so it’s ready to be used right out of the box. This model has an EDID mode for applying a set display resolution from one output to all the outputs, and it also features an equalizer, signal retiming, and a driver to extend your signal over longer distances.
HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3 Compliant
HDMI 2.1 is the latest version of the HDMI specification, offering increased bandwidth and supporting advanced features. HDCP 2.3 (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is the latest content protection standard for HDMI.
High-Bandwidth Throughput
The splitter can handle a video signal with a maximum bandwidth of 40 Gb/s, which ensures compatibility with high-resolution and high-refresh-rate content.
HDMI 2.1 Features
VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) allows for smoother gameplay by syncing the display’s refresh rate with the game’s frame rate, reducing stuttering and tearing.
FVA (Fast Video Frame Transport) enables quick video frame transport for reduced latency.
ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) automatically switches the display to a low-latency mode when a compatible gaming device is detected.
HDR Support
HDR (High Dynamic Range) enhances the contrast and color accuracy of video content. The splitter supports HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) pass-through, allowing compatible content to be displayed in their respective HDR formats.
Audio Format Support
A wide range of HDMI audio formats is supported, including LPCM (Linear Pulse Code Modulation), various Dolby formats (Dolby Digital/Plus/EX, Dolby TrueHD), various DTS formats (DTS, DTS-EX, DTS-96/24, DTS High Res, DTS-HD Master Audio), and DSD (Direct Stream Digital) audio.
Built-In Signal Features
EDID (Extended Display Identification Data), Equalizer, Retiming, and Driver features help optimize the HDMI signal, ensuring the best possible audio and video performance over long cable runs or when connected to various devices.
