Description
The Kramer FC-18 is a compact display On/Off controller designed to reduce power costs and streamline setup time for meetings, conferences, and presentations. It accepts 4K HDR10 signal via the HDMI input, reclocks and equalizes it, and sends it to the HDMI output. Additionally, the FC-18 automatically sends On/Off commands to the connected display at the onset/loss of input signal—forget having to find a power button.
To turn your display On or Off, the FC-18 offers manual control methods including front-panel buttons, RS-232/CEC commands, Ethernet, and contact closure switches as well as automatic commands via CEC, RS-232, or Ethernet. It provides internal, external, and user-defined EDID options, compliance with HDCP 1.4 and 2.2, and bypass of CEC and Dolby Vision. The FC-18 also supports data tunneling between the 3-pin Euroblock RS-232 port and the RJ45 Ethernet port.
