The OWI WRVC100W-W is an Impedance Matching Water-resistant Volume Control that is intended to compensate for the decreasing impedance associated with connecting multiple pairs of speakers to a single audio amplifier. It does this by multiplying the impedance of the speakers.
The WRVC100W-W features 100 watts RMS power handling per channel, 2 5/8″ mounting depth, and 12 volume positions including one Off position. It protects amplifier by maintaining safe impedance. Its 1x position allows use in ordinary applications. It has a removable input/output terminal strip and a stereo control that can be used in mono applications.
