Key Features:

The Kramer TP-582R 1:2 Twisted Pair Receiver allows you to receive HDMI, Ethernet 100BaseT, RS-232 and IR input signals. It converts a twisted pair signal back to Ethernet 100BaseT, RS-232, IR and two HDMI outputs. Additionally, it also de-embeds audio to S/PDIF and TOSLINK audio outputs. The device offers a maximum data transfer rate of up to 2.25 Gbps over a distance of up to 330’ (100m). Shielded twisted pair (STP) cables such as Kramer’s BC-DGKat524, BC-DGKat623, or BC-DGKat723 cables can be used for optimum performance.

The TP-582R 1:2 Twisted Pair Receiver supports HDMI v.1.4 with Deep Color, x.v.Color, Lip Sync, HDMI Uncompressed Audio Channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, CEC, and 3D Pass-through. EDID PassThru feature helps in passing EDID/HDCP signals from the source to the display. The Ethernet interface uses 100BaseT connectivity, which features a high-data transfer rate for efficient transfer of data, video signals, etc.

A bidirectional RS-232 interface allows commands and data flow in both directions, thus allowing status requests and control of the destination unit. In addition, the device can be controlled via front panel buttons. An LED indicator displays input selection, output, link and power. Using an optional RK-T2B rack adaptor, you can mount 2 units side-by-side in a 1U rack space. Being HDCP compliant and HDTV compatible, the TP-582R 1:2 Twisted Pair Receiver is suitable for home theater, presentation, multimedia, and staging applications.

Note: Transmission range depends on the signal resolution, graphics card and display used. The distance using non-Kramer CAT 5, CAT 6, and CAT 7 cables may not reach these ranges. Use only shielded cable where both ends of the shield are soldered to ground.
